How to add dividends
We support manually adding dividends.
Go to the trades page.
Click “Add trade”
Enter a stock symbol
Click Dividend
Select an option
a. Cash (Creates a closed position with 100% profit, zero cost basis)
b. Re-invest (Creates an open position for the shares received, zero cost basis)
We will try to pull a list of dividends from our database
a. If data is not available you can select your own payment date
b. If a date is available we will also set the price for you and calculate how many shares you should receive based on your total stock holdings prior to that ex-dividend date.
