AutoSync: Connecting Interactive Brokers

Once this is set up you can import trades for the next 365 days before needing to reconnect. This will refresh your trades every 2 hours. When you make a trade through Interactive Brokers it can take 4-6+ hours for IB to make the data available through the feed.

Set up the queries

We update using this query once per day. This will pull in the majority of your trades.


Generate the access token

Log into IBKR website: Login link

Click on the user icon on the top right corner and click on "Settings"

Once you see the account settings page, click on the Flex web service link.

In the popup that appears, check the "Flex web service status".

Click 'generate new token'

Change the drop down to 1 year

Click re-generate token

Copy the 'Current Token'

Click save

Now we will get the flex query ID, at the top hover over 'Performance and Reports', click Flex Queries

Click the 'Pencil' icon to the right of the flex query you created

Copy the query ID at the top

Enter these IDs below

Click save
